Description by seller:
Restored car. Originally manufactured as a Normale with a single Solex carb but was later fitted with a 1600 twin Weber carb engine and 5-speed gearbox. Original power was 60hp and now has 112hp. It is indistinguishable from a Veloce but the letter from the factory shows it is a Normale.
According to our documentation files, the chassis number AR 171015 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, engine series AR 00102, manufactured on the 27th of September 1961 and sold on the 21st of December 1961 to Alfa Romeo SA, Johannesburg.
The body colour is red and car is signed by Marco Fazio. Period-correct radio but with modern internals like FM and Bluetooth. However proper speakers and aerial need to be fitted. Speedometer was MPH but the outer scale was replaced with a new one which reads km/h. All 3 instruments have new dials.
This car is available to view by appointment in Johannesburg.
