Description by seller:
1950 chassis (B174JO), engine (B7J). Standard steel saloon with body number 3660. Exterior colour is Black Pearl. Two-inch longer steering column and no 'B' mascot.
Delivered in November 1950 to S.M.T. Sales and Services Co. Ltd, who delivered the car to Robert Lawson in June 1951. Last recorded in England in 1955 with a Mr Auld. Probably the car said to be chassis B174JC in South Africa in 2004, painted white and grey. Possibly owned by Marek or Bogden Letowt when noted with Bentley Motors in Johannesburg in 2004. Resprayed red and silver and displayed on the Chemspec stand at the Auto Africa Motor Show in Johannesburg in October 2004, advertising their paints. Noted in Durban in September 2009 - awaiting restoration. Car restored by October 2016, painted metallic grey and white. Registration numbers: EST280, RFD609GP/SAF, NT49905/SAF.
Tyres are incorrect size for the car.
