Based in Santa Clara California, the Vintage Electric company build retro style, high performance capable e-bikes. Their signature model, the Tracker is a single speed e-bike which features vintage design with modern technology, inspired by the board track racers of the early 1900’s which raced on wood planked motordromes.

The 720-watt hour battery is mounted in the hydroformed aluminium frame powering the hub motor which gives the Tracker a top speed capability of 36 mph in Race mode. Power is deployed via thumb activated throttle and pedal assist with hydraulic disc brakes providing good stopping power plus regenerative braking providing additional battery charging.

An LCD status screen enables the rider to monitor the battery level and choose between the five power levels in order to maintain maximum range (40 to 75 miles in street mode) or maximum speed (36 mph in race mode). Estimated time to fully charge the battery is 2 to 3 hours.

This bike is a Vintage Electric Tracker in Indy Red with the following upgrades fitted:

• Abus lock

It was imported to South Africa in late 2018 and has done minimal mileage.
