The first series Alfa Romeo Spiders were launched at the 36th Geneva Motor Show in 1966 and came with the round tail design and a 1576cc twin-cam engine producing 92bhp. The second generation was produced from 1970 to 1982 with the round tail redesigned by Pininfarina to the distinctive 'Kamm' tail which improved luggage space.
