  • Cars have a buyer’s premium of 5%
    • Cars - minimum premium of R 5 000 and maximum R 100 000 inclusive of VAT.
  • Collectibles and Parts have a buyer’s premium of 10%
    • Collectibles and Parts - minimum premium of R 100 inclusive of VAT.
  • Yes, there are reserve prices which are confidential. If there is no reserve or the reserve has been lowered we will state this.
  • There is a vehicle grading document for every car on www.classiccarafrica.com. This has been completed by the seller and grades the different areas of the car on a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent).
  • We will extract as much information on all cars but cannot guarantee the condition.
  • Bidders need to be confident of the condition of the car prior to placing a bid.
  • The full maintenance history and documentation is made available for the bidder to study.
  • Viewings can be arranged (and are recommended) prior to you making an educated bid.
  • No, we liaise with the buyer and seller and answer any questions on behalf of the seller.
  • Yes, a R 250 registration deposit hold is placed on the credit card assigned to your profile.
  • 50% of the buyer’s premium is processed immediately on your credit card.
  • The balance of the buyer’s premium is paid to us via EFT.
  • You will receive the payment information for the seller and make payment directly.
  • This is the responsibility of the buyer.
  • We have a list of trusted transporters and can forward their details to the buyer.
